Championing Women & Diversity in Communication Leadership

USC Annenberg’s Center on Communication Leadership & Policy, in partnership with Ms. Magazine, presents Championing Women & Diversity in Communication Leadership, a networking reception and forum for students and young alumni to explore career possibilities and discuss why it is important to ensure all aspects of diversity are represented in the leadership of media organizations. Special guests include Nancy Tellem, president, Microsoft Entertainment & Digital Media and Jacqueline Hernandez, Chief Operating Officer, Telemundo Media; Anh Do, Los Angeles Times and Gerrick Kennedy, Los Angeles Times music writer and NABJ emerging journalist of the year; Erika Crespo, Executive Editor of Fifty & Five. Research presentations by Johanna Blakley, Norman Lear Center research director, and Cinny Kennard, senior fellow, USC Annenberg Center on Communication Leadership & Policy.

The event is free to the USC community. Refreshments will be served.
